Includes sites supporting online purchase of such adult goods and services.

    Sites that advocate or promote the production or recreational use of alcoholic beverages or tobacco.
     
  3. Alternate Lifestyle
    Sites that provide information on or cater to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and other "alternative" lifestyles.
     
  4. Audio & Video File Sharing
    Sites that support downloading of audio or video files or that serve as directories of such sites.  This includes image searches and download sites of file-sharing software such as Gnutella clients.     (Note: If you have installed file sharing programs on your computer, Family Guardian can not stop the use of these programs. We do prevent you from downloading these programs for new installation.)
     
  5. Chat/BBS/Instant Messaging
    Sites that offer access to online chatting, message posting, voice transmission and software supporting such activities.
     
  6. Criminal Activity (Harmful To Minors)
    Criminal activity includes, but is not necessarily limited to, hate speech, wagering, illegal drug promotion, illegal weapons construction/modification/sales, suicide, and crime instructions.
     
  7. Crude/Tasteless
    Sites containing tasteless humor, excretory functions, graphic medical, autopsy or accident photos and extreme forms of body modification (cutting, branding, piercing). Also, sites that contain vulgar or obscene language or gestures.
     
  8. Downloads
    Sites enabling the download of software, updates, patches and other computer-related components.
     
  9. Gambling and Wagering
    Sites providing online wagering and sites devoted exclusively to promote gambling activities; does not include non-currency gaming, fantasy sports, statistics and "lines" for sporting events, gaming supplies, casino-hotels, related tourism and news articles surrounding the gambling industry.
     
  10. Gaming
    Internet participation of games such as puzzles, arcade, card, and logic problems. This category also covers any information that refers back to games such as strategy guides and hints.
     
  11. Health
    Anything pertaining to the well being of a living body.
     
  12. Job/Employment
    Sites that provide job listings and information related to employment, such as resume posting and interviewing tips.
     
  13. News
     Reporting of any current events taking place throughout the world.
     
  14. Personal Website Communities
    Sites where web page space is offered for free, such as GeoCities, Tripod, AngelFire, and others that often contain illicit and profane material along with legitimate content.
     
  15. Personals/Dating
    Internet related websites and/or applications  that post and receive information from people wanting to socialize. 
     
  16. Pornography, Recreational Nudity and Obscenity
    Sites containing bare breasts or genitalia in a photo, drawing, or other sexual depiction. Recreational nudity includes naturism, streaking, and other unclothed activities.  Obscenity refers to sites containing vulgar words regarding sexual organs, sexual activity, or other sexual speech in a crude or blatant manner.
     
  17. Religion
    Content about the reverence of a supernatural power regarded as creator and governor of the universe or a set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader.
     
  18. Search Sites
    Sites that search or index any portion of the Internet.  Image searches are also classified as "Audio & Video File Sharing".
     
  19. Sports
     Information about any physical games such as football, skating, and hunting.

  21. Swimsuits / Lingerie
    Sites that provide photos of models wearing swimsuits, lingerie, underwear, or other highly revealing attire.

    Content pertaining to an instrument of attack or defense in combat such as guns, bombs, or swords. Also content pertaining to any physical force exerted for the purpose of violating, damaging, or abusing.
